Episode 796 - Headline Howie Gets the Scoop on Snuffy
HBO Max Premiere: Wednesday May 27, 2020
After Big Bird leaves Mr. Snuffleupagus to go to the library, Snuffy mopes around Sesame Street counting everyone who does not notice him, including Susan, Gordon, Mr. MacIntosh, Cookie Monster, David, Bob, Maria, Mr. Hooper, Willy the hot dog man, and Luis. When Big Bird returns, he quickly calls everyone around asking if they saw his friend since they planned to watch television together. Everyone becomes frustrated to hear of Big Bird's "ridiculous, imaginary friend" again. Nobody has seen Snuffy and Big Bird can not prove he is real. Big Bird is frustrated that nobody believes him since Snuffy is real. Newspaper reporter Headline Howie learned of everyone's frustration and creates multiple catchy headlines about the situation.
