Does anybody know if the writers' strike could affect production of Season 54?

I don't believe so. Season 54 has been in production these past several months, and it was just recently that they wrapped up production.

In a recent interview, Matt Vogel stated that they support the strike and that it hasn’t affected season 54 since they’ve been in production. I’ll look for the article.

The thing with Sesame Street is that they could easily repackage old skits and brand it as a new episode.
