At the Feelings Fair, Elmo, Alan and Julia learn to figure out how someone is feeling by looking at their facial expressions.

This episode features an all-new street story, Celebrating Me, Celebrating You, Celebrating Us ("Riding a Tricycle"), Abby's Amazing Adventures ("Actors and Directors"), and Elmo & Tango's Mysterious Mysteries ("Mystery Wand").

Beginning with Season 46, Max (formerly HBO/HBO Max) acquired exclusive first-rights to broadcast Sesame Street episodes. PBS broadcasts these same shows nine months after their Max premiere. In order to help more children with autism, this episode premiered jointly on Max and PBS on Thursday, April 4, 2024. Check local listings for air times for PBS. This is the first Season 54 episode to air on PBS.

Autism currently affects 1 in 36 children in the US according to 2020 data. That’s more than a 300% increase since 2000. Sesame Workshop has an official website for children and parents who are dealing with the challenges of autism.

Today’s suspect is about feelings. We had a fair to celebrate them. First we play guess the feeling game with Chris, then we play duck duck guess where we grab a duck and guess the feeling the duck has on the bottom. Finally we play face freeze when see the feelings Charlie and Nina act out. Once again, we get a brief segment of Elmo riding a tricycle Despite not being a repeat we had to beware of. We get a new song about looking at a feeling through the mirror. In Abby’s amazing adventures. Abby and rudy put on a play about a cowboy finding the sheep. We sometimes make mistakes from it. In Elmo and tango’s mysterious mysteries, Elmo and tango search for Abby’s wand. You and me will love this.
