Episode 5032 - Big Bird's Fairy Tale

PBS Premiere: Monday March 15, 2021

Big Bird makes up a fairy tale about a bird named Birdie who helps a Beast learn how to be a good friend.

This episode features a street story from Season 46, a new Big Bird's Road Trip (Lexington, South Carolina), Abby's Amazing Adventures ("Recycling Sorters") and Elmo's World ("Kindness").

The extended ending with Big Bird saying "Finally one for the birds" was a nice surprise. I liked David Rudman's squirrel in the signoff.

They did? Huh. Just skimming and it looks like they cut the whole "I'm a Beast" song. Sheesh.

Watching it again, I realized they fixed the lip-sync when Big Bird says "But you're still a beast."
