Episode 5030 - Making the Band

A rock star is performing on Sesame Street, but his equipment is in the wrong town. The gang helps build and design replacements so the show can go on.

This episode features a street story from Season 43, a new Big Bird's Road Trip (Mexico City, Mexico), Questlove and Grover play the drums, an all-new Abby's Amazing Adventures ("Musicians") and Elmo's World ("Songs").

Once again, not in HD, started two minutes late, and man, this was probably the hammiest I've ever seen Alan before.

I noticed it was late too. At least I didn't miss anything.

I find it fascinating that the Road Trip segment wasn't from America, so the theme song was muted and the end with Big Bird was redubbed. The costumes Abby and Rudy wore in Amazing Adventures were cool.
