I know it's customary to shoot a season in advance and all. I just hope any parody/celebrity segments won't be already dated by the time the season airs. I'd hate to see a repeat of the ***** parody episode to happen.

And other than saving money and focusing on younger audiences, probably a large portioning of the reasoning behind it is that anything could get very dated by the time season 48 airs on HBO, let alone the nearly a year later on PBS.

I don't know why, but he somehow looks a little more like an FAO-Schwartz Whatnot than an actual Muppet in that pic.
