Episode 3564 - Big Bird and the Cuckoos
HBO Max Premiere: Wednesday May 27, 2020
While Big Bird goes to Hooper's for a birdseed milkshake, two Cuckoo birds see his empty nest and move in! They tell Big Bird they are staying to hatch their egg and using other bird's empty nests is the cuckoo way. They agree to leave once the baby is born. They also ask Big Bird to get them birdseeds, to hatch their egg, and to keep singing the alphabet song to it. Big Bird agrees, since he will do whatever he has to do to get his nest back! While the Cuckoos are at the movie, the egg hatches and the baby sings the alphabet song! After naming Baby Cathy and singing the Cuckoo National Anthem, the Cuckoos decide to stay in Big Bird's nest. It's the only home their baby has ever known! Big Bird is upset. Maria helps him demand his nest back and send the Cuckoos elsewhere for a new nest.
