Episode 2455 - Maria and Luis Get Engaged

Big Bird teaches the birdketeers to say "congratulations" in different languages for when Luis and Maria get married. Luis and Maria invite Big Bird to dinner. When Big Bird asks when they are getting married, they reply they have not decided to get married! Oscar inquires as well since he is looking forward to throwing rice at them. Maria and Luis see Telly looking at his bow ties, trying to choose which one to wear to their wedding. After helping Telly don his bow ties, Maria and Luis tell Telly they have not decided to get married. At dinner, Luis asks if their dinner would be good to have at a wedding. They explain their relationship to Big Bird, who asks many questions. With Big Bird's help, they decide to get married! Big Bird shares the happy news with everyone on Sesame Street!
