Episode 1207 - Bert Meets Bertha

Olivia is watching Mr. Hooper's store. Bert asks for a flat soda water. Olivia suggests cherry syrup or ice cream to make the drink more interesting. After Olivia remarks how Bert must be the only person who prefers his soda water plain, Bertha enters and orders the same drink! Later, Bertha has Bert guess what her pet is. It's a pigeon! Bertha just brought her pigeon, Francine, to the vet, because she was lonely. Bert introduces his pigeon, Gus, so she can have a friend. Bert sings a love song to Bertha about their similarities, including music, oatmeal, paperclips, and checkers. Later, Bert and Bertha share a soda pop. Bertha confesses she does not like soda pop. She only drinks it to add caps to her bottle cap collection. Enamored, Bert and Bertha begin comparing their collections.

So it's Nice to See Bert in a episode and that was a great episode and Luis did the sponsor reading at the end of it

I did notice the running time for the episode on HBO Max was 57 minutes. There must have been something edited out, and if so, what was it? The bank teller film? The Pointer Sisters' performance?
