I am so confused with sesame Street now.

1. What was the storyline behind Maria leaving and how does Louise tie in???
2. Is Bob McGrath Still on the show?? How did they write him off if he left???
3. Who Currently runs Hooper's store???

Thanks. Bob

1. There was no storyline about Maria leaving. Sonia Manzano simply retired, and they replaced her with a younger Latina named Nina played by Suki Lopez. There is no one on the show named Louise.
2. Not officially, he only appears if they repeat an older episode that he happens to be in, and no, they did not write him off either.
3. Alan.

I'm pretty sure he was talking about Maria's husband Luis. (There is a Louisey, but that's a Muppet.) It would be safe to assume he just doesn't come around as often anymore, like Bob does.
