Does anyone remember seeing this Sesame Street promo that appears between the 05:38-05:39 mark of this video?

https://archive.org/details/PBSkids_201812

It has a family in letter A costumes, and they talk about A words such as astronaut I believe. The lady playing the mother looks like a familiar celebrity because it feels like I've seen her in something before but do not know what it was and she mentions at the end about the A list.

Tried looking for some information about this online, but couldn't find anything at all.

Scarecroe (Scott) over on the ToughPigs Forum had some stuff to say about this.

  • The lady might be Joan Allen, who does a lot of theater work along with TV and movies as well.
He also mentioned the Nathan Lane promo documented on Muppet Wiki which looks like it was part of the same series of promos with an equally famous celebrity such as him.

Could there be more than these two like he said, or are these the only ones?

So the answer to who the lady is in the video has been revealed and it happens to be Christine Ebersole.

I kind of figured that it was her and not Joan, but had to go back and rewatch again because of not being 100% sure.

And there is also one with Rosie O'Donnell as well that I remember seeing, but forgot where I found it.

Here’s another one of these, but with Gregory Hines this time:

Fascinating! These both appear to have to do with the clip I found with Nathan Lane as the number 2. I wonder how many there are.

Also, in an upload of episode 3525 formerly on YT (the episode is now on Max, but that's not important), I saw the last few seconds of the Rosie O'Donnell bit. I can't remember, but I think she was also a letter A.

Thank you! I think that's where I saw the Rosie bit as well.

I dunno. I think it was uploaded after this thread was published.

Of course, I can't go back and check anymore, but I don't recall seeing it on YT until 2019.
