Muppets: Ernie has forgotten something after his bath. Bert asks if he washed his face, his ears, and other parts of his body. Ernie did, but then he remembers that he forgot to turn off the water!

Scene 5: SAM the Robot is looking for something that starts with M. He asks Maria for help, without realizing that her name starts with M. SAM finds the mailbox and becomes enamored with it.

So the last one was actually number 133 (sorry about that). Number 134 features Big Bird, Snuffy, Mumford, and special guest Elliott Gould, who worked with the Muppets in the rare special "Out to Lunch!" Plus, Ernie and Bert play the drums together and Marshal Grover shows "away from."

Scene 1: Big Bird and Mr. Snuffleupagus are picking out toys to bring to the park: the baseball and mitts, the jump rope, the Frisbee, or the set of jacks? They select the baseball, mitts, and set of jacks; and they decide to retrieve the other items when they return from the park.

Cartoon: A shoemaker shows how he measures people’s feet with a ruler

Muppets/Song: Ernie sings, “Dee Dee Dee” with visual assistance from Cookie Monster

Film: Kids make things out of colored shape cutouts

Scene 2: Bob goes to Big Bird’s nest to visit. He opens the door and sees Snuffy’s giant Frisbee and jump rope. The Frisbee is labeled, “Property of Mr. Snuffleupagus.” Bob is flabbergasted and dashes off to tell somebody.

Cartoon: The Eleven Cheer (animation by Jim Henson)

Scene 3: Big Bird and Snuffy return from the park and collect their toys. Big Bird offers to help Snuffy bring everything back to his cave, and Snuffy says yes. While they leave, Bob convinces Susan and Gordon to come with him to see the enormous toys. When they arrive, Big Bird’s nest area is empty. Bob struggles to explain as Gordon and Susan laugh at his story.

Muppets: Bert is locked out of the apartment and wonders why Ernie has kept him out. As he imagines each scenario, he becomes worried, sad, and angry. When Ernie finally lets Bert in, he reveals that he planned a surprise party for Bert!

Cartoon: Herman Happy and Stanley Sad perform a vaudeville routine

Then Big Bird stops by for a birdseed milkshake, but leaves when he can’t find Mr. Hooper. Herry Monster wants to buy a pail and shovel, but walks away empty-handed. Mr. Hooper realizes that a lot of people rely on him, and he asks Mumford to make him the same age as he was before. Mumford obliges, and Mr. Hooper resumes his duties at the store.

Cartoon: A boy rescues a baby bird, and in turn, the bird’s mother gets the boy out of his own predicament

Scene 2: Big Bird and Buffy sort bird feeders by size. Afterwards, Big Bird notes that he’s getting hungry, and eats the birdseed from each feeder!

Scene 3: Oscar asks Luis if he can borrow some tools from his toolbox. Luis pulls out each tool as Oscar names them, and he assumes that Oscar plans to build or repair something. The Count has never been to the movies before, and wants to join. Luis warns them that the Count might count everything during the movies, but Gordon and Susan let him come along.

Scene 5: The Count is amazed by the movie theater. He wants some food from the concession stand, but he can’t decide what he wants to buy! Gordon convinces him to buy one box of popcorn. The Count: “ONE box? But that is just…one box of popcorn.” Gordon: “Sure, but it has lots of little pieces of popcorn for you to eat and count!” The Count agrees and buys the box of popcorn.

Cartoon: A pair of arms hugs the word “LOVE”

Scene 2: Maria asks David if he wrote the love note, but he denies it. Then they find a yellow feather underneath the fire escape. Big Bird shyly approaches Maria with a rose and a bag of birdseed for her. Maria gives him a hug and accepts the gifts as David smiles.

Film: Two birds (music by Joe Raposo)

Cartoon: The letter U salesman

Cartoon: Typewriter Guy – U is for Umbrella

Muppets: The Anything Muppets perform, “Clap Clap”

Scene 3: The cast talks about round things, in separately filmed shots. First, Maria says that a clock is round. Then Big Bird adds that a ball is round. Bert mentions that bottle caps are round, and displays his bottle cap collection. Mr. Hooper says that tomatoes, grapefruits, and apples are round. Finally, Cookie Monster says that cookies and plates are round, and proceeds to devour said objects.

Muppets: Ernie and Bert attempt to share grape juice and pizza

Scene 2: Oscar wants people to leave him alone, so he plans to place a cardboard cutout of himself next to his can. After he positions it, he goes into his can for a nap. Bob comes by and sees the cardboard cutout. Confused, he knocks on Oscar’s can to ask why the cardboard cutout is there. Oscar explains and tells Bob to let him sleep.

Scene 4: David goes to Oscar’s can to ask for some spare change. Before David can get a word out, Oscar yells at him, presuming that he’s there to ask about the cardboard cutout. Season 6: Big Bird is grumpy/Biff uses his memory

Scene 1: Luis welcomes the viewer from the Fix-It Shop when Biff approaches him. Biff needs to ask Luis something important, but can’t remember what it is. Luis suggests that he try to remember what he was doing before he got here. Biff remembers that he and Sully were driving down Nelson Avenue when their truck stopped moving. Biff asked Sully what the problem was, and they found out that the truck had a flat tire. They didn’t have a spare, so Biff walked to Sesame Street to ask Luis if he can borrow his tire pump and patches. Luis lends them to Biff, and commends him for using his memory so well.

Scene 6: The camera cuts to a pile of feathers and fabric from Cookie Monster’s pillow and sleeping bag. Big Bird desperately tries to satisfy Cookie’s appetite by offering him the lampshade, which the monster loudly devours. Gordon comes to the window after hearing the commotion, and Big Bird explains the situation: “What should I do, Gordon? The only things I haven’t offered him yet are cookies!” Gordon: “Well, as a matter of fact, I have a box of cookies in my kitchen.” Big Bird frantically tells Gordon to bring out the box of cookies.

Cartoon: A hand draws a telephone booth

Muppets: The Count’s bats are on strike because they never get to count. The Count “fixes” the problem by letting them count all the Counts in the room…but there’s only one Count. Then the Count counts all his bats, getting the last laugh.

Cartoon: Flying Z in space

Cartoon: A girl uses her paint-by-numbers set to find an elephant in her picture

Muppets: At night, Ernie is thirsty, so he imagines drinking a glass of water. Bert tells him to go get a real glass of water, but after Ernie drinks it, he’s hungry…so he imagines eating a peanut butter sandwich.
