Is this True? Are these the first five episodes? Not the ones shown to families arcoss the the countries to get paid for them These are the ones that have aired on PBS and Noggin.

Ok I know about the first one so I'll skip it.

"The Big "B" Treasure Hunt" show 2

"Shapes" show 3

"Oscar's Birthday cake" show 4

"Big Bird's Wagon" show 5

Those are the first 5 episodes of the FORMER Unpaved series. I'm gonna say former since that series pretty much is gone, and several people who come here will never even know that Sesame Street Unpaved ever existed. We'll never be seeing them again, I'm afraid.

I'm still unclear on the whole unpaved thing. Are these special episodes never releashed before or are they just really old reruns? And why is it called unpaved anyway? I'm sure I've asked this before and gotten an answer, but my memory sucks.

I know you said Unpaved episodes but are they the ones that also showed on PBS, that is when they started showing Sesame Street for the first time?

Ok, "Sesame Street Unpaved" was this series that once aired on Noggin of old re-runs of Sesame Street from the first 20 seasons of the series. But I'm afraid there's nothing we can do to save it. So now, we need a DVD set of every Sesame Street episode ever made! How about that? There is a petition at this link. You may sign it if you want, or if you haven't yet:

http://www.petitiononline.com/oscar/petition.html

It now has 339 sigs, and is really going up!

Maybe. The fifth is definitely NOT the fifth aired episode, as it has no end credits. I dunno about the other 3...

I know this is very sad, but I'm wondering if we should just pretend that Unpaved never even existed. Because it looks like it's REALLY gone now. And in a few years from now, nobody will even know what Sesame Street Unpaved was.

Do we pretend that Jim Henson never existed, just because he died? No. Did the people on Sesame Street pretend that Mr. Hooper never existed, just because he died? No.

Actually, this should be handled like the death of Mr. Hooper...let's just remember how good SSU was, and never forget. I know it's gone...but that just happens.

It's no big deal...life goes on.

I will remember it for as long as I live. But it is very important to me. I am extremely upset, and have cried an awful lot over the past few weeks. I wish I had taped some of them earlier. For some reason, I thought it was just going to go on forever. I should have known better. I have a lot of them, but not all of them. That is, some of them didn't come out well, because we were having digital cable problems. I was going to trade tapes with Boober_Gorg, but I lost the list of shows he wanted. I sent him an e-mail, and hopefully, he will send me another one. But my life will not go on without Unpaved.

P.S.: How come nobody knew about it until yesterday, that it was going?
