As expected, this is the version shown on HBO Max, as it has the following Friday's end credits attached to the end. I bet a lot of fans who subscribed to Max are likely soon going to cancel their subscriptions due to the Workshop possibly moving the episodes to YouTube ahead of the 2027 purge on Max.
The majority of those classics were removed from Max long ago (I'm surprised some of the episodes still on Max have been uploaded).

Somehow I feel as if, considering that Saturday is Valentine's Day, could it be possible that the Workshop is planning on releasing a romance-themed episode on Saturday? Ones that come to my mind are Episode 1207 ("Bert meets Bertha") and Episode 2404 ("Maria and Luis realize they are in love"). Episode 1207 is a strong candidate, since that was previously offered on HBO Max, but Episode 2404 was never on Max despite having aired on Noggin over two decades ago. However, there could be other romance-themed episodes that were never released to streaming before that I don't even know about.

And for the record, the Workshop did release, last Sunday, Episode 953 - the one in which The Count falls in love with a Countess - which is appropriately themed for the upcoming occasion.

Also, there was one episode that was uploaded on January 6, 2026 - which was a Tuesday.

This isn't worth getting drunk over.
Good advice. I bet Guy Smiley could give you an award for what you said.

The latest release is another instance of an episode never before streamed that is now on YouTube. And as expected, "love" is the theme of this episode.

The episode was originally broadcast on January 4, 1991.

If memory serves correctly, this must be the first upload on the Sesame Street Classics channel that features "Elmo's World", and the first episode from the 21st century to be released to such channel. The 2001 season was the last season before the format change that involved one prolonged street scene and fewer short segments, and of course, "Journey to Ernie" whose Big Bird/Ernie segments were heavily reran to death.

At least, in the 2001 season, there were some classic segments from the 1970s and early 1980s still being used. I was even amazed to see a Canadian-produced cartoon segment, Slot Machine Legs, as recently as 2001.

I just realized, with both Sesame Workshop and the Thomas & Friends channel uploading classic episodes on YouTube, we are kinda eating good when it comes to classic kids show episodes being uploaded.

^ Episode 0115, originally broadcast on April 17, 1970. Previously on HBO Max. I could tell this was a Season 1 episode because of the obvious orange Oscar.

This means three of the five Season 1 episodes that were on HBO Max are now on the Sesame Street Classics YouTube channel.
