It sounded like Brian to me. I remember Brian's Telly before Marty took over.
I do too; Brian's the one I grew up with. But when I first heard the clip it sounded like the voice was kind of going in and out, so my first thought was it was Marty trying to sound like Brian. But it could also be Brian just trying something different with the character as well.

Something else that's interesting to take into consideration...

When Marty first took over the characters of Snuffy and Telly, it was obvious that he tried (perhaps a little too hard) to make them sound almost exactly like the way Jerry and Brian had respectively did their voices; it's hard to tell exactly, but it seems like it wasn't until the late 80s or so that Marty really made the characters his own.
Yeah. It seems like they're missing a Snuffy voice comparison. I'd like to see how that guy would describe Marty's Snuffy in comparison with Jerry Nelso and Michael Earl.

Snuffy is a much better character when he's not a constant sad sack, so just like with Telly, Marty really helped flesh out his personality.

Also, it's pretty
