Sesame Workshop Finds Cause To Add Greenberg

March 05, 2003

Sesame Workshop adds Jaime Greenberg as VP of philanthropic development to spearhead efforts to gain support from foundations, corporations and individuals for the Workshop's programs and initiatives. Greenberg answers to Sherrie Rollins Westin, EVP of corporate affairs, education and development. Previously, Greenberg was at pubcaster Thirteen/WNET New York, where she led fundraising efforts for their national and local productions as well as education outreach projects. She also was director of development for New Visions for Public Schools, a non-profit organization that supports public education programs in New York City. Sesame Workshop, founded in 1968, is responsible for SESAME STREET, DRAGON TALES and SAGWA, THE CHINESE SIAMESE CAT. As a nonprofit, SW puts the proceeds from sales of products from these shows back into its educational projects for children around the world. Find the Workshop online at www.sesameworkshop.org.
