I'd like to start a thread about references to Sesame Street seen appearing on shows other than Sesame Street. I can mention one instance I know of.
In an episode of a show called the weekenders, four kids happen to be in a restaurant where a baker is serving desserts. He announces the number and type of dessert, then trips and spills then on the kids. I personally do not remember the "baker" skits where Jim Henson falls down stairs with a tray of desserts, but I have heard them descibed so often I recognized this instance of a Sesame-crossover reference.
To me it is amazing that Sesame Street has become such an icon that other shows make reference to it. I am hoping other people have seen this phenomenon and can give more examples of it.
Also anyone wanting to give a better description of the "baker" skits may do so.
