sometimes people just cooses names of characters in TV shows or movies and have no inspiration for them. but i'm sure sometimes character names are inspired by something. to start out,i belong to this board about cities and somebody mention a place near Santa Fe N.M. called the San. Luis Valley. since Elmilio Delgado who plays the Luis character is from somewhere in N.M. could that be where SS got is character name from? i also wonder if Elmo is short for Elmo? Snuffy's sister Alice was probably nameed after Allyson O'Riley who plays Gina, backtracking Willie the hog dog man was probably named after Will Lee who played Mr. Loooper i mean Hooper. goota figure Chrissy of Chrissy & the Alphabets and Jerry of Little Jerry 7 the Monitones were named after the muppetteers. anyoneone else i might of missed?

Oscar was named after an unpleasant waiter Jim Henson and Carroll Spinney met at a Restaurant in New York City called "Oscar's Tavern"
