Basically, a Republican in AZ (where else?) has been taking some homeless people and making them into "candidates" to siphon votes from Democrats (I guess he figures he hasn't got a chance in heck unless he cheats). Didn't I watch this episode on Dinosaurs?

Yes. Yes it is. No matter who's in charge, it is.

Face it. These guys would throw pregnant women and elderly war vets under a bus to win. They are conniving, sneaky, underhanded, and basically own the country even with a Democrat (a conservative one at that) supposedly in charge. They have a game plan. They want back in to wage sexy profitable wars in other Middle Eastern countries and give even higher tax favors for the same exact rich people who become too rich to fail. The real Republican party has long since been dead. We have a Reagonian Neo-Con(vict) party trying to bamboozle the conservative thinking public.

Not to say that the Dems don't have underhanded, conniving methods themselves... they just fail TERRIBLY at it. They don't know how to play the system, they flop once they hit the office, and we wind up with another oil slick haired schmuck making sure the status quo STAYS the status quo. And we wonder why politics is so dirty and disgusting in this country.

But hey, Acorn! Let's never forget what Acorn did while Fox News gave a record amount of money to the Republican Governor's Association. Let's NEVER forget the bailout while the same people try to kill any tiny bit of the Sherman Anti-Trust act so these companies get bigger and fatter...

if you ask me they BOTH suck... the spineless jelly fish petty thieves on the left and the career criminal sharks who own ALL the media on the right.

Yeah. I've known for awhile that the only difference between conservative and liberal politicians is who signs their checks.

And then eventually you learn that the two different people who sign the checks are all employed by the same person. This is why I despise that flamewar over some religious building in NY. It never fails: "OMG ... they are funded by the bad guys!"

PLEASE! If we TRULY played "the six degrees of Osama's money", NO ONE would win that game. It almost always sounds like this: "Well, y'see, that there guy owns a business that had some dude walk past it and put a quarter in the parkin' meter and had previously written a check to some charity that ended up giving their money to some chick who was really a dude in disguise so that Osama Bin Laden could pay for some Doritos." Seriously. If you're in govnernment, your dollars are dirty.

And the fact that Democrats can't govern to save their lives, and they always want a compromise. Plus, the loudmouth bias liberal talking heads couldn't make money if they were selling hotcakes on the side.

That's another thing that kills me. That building. The whole project was unveiled by a loud mouth neo-con blogger to create a wedge non-issue and make his guys look like the good guys. Like Christians NEVER did anything evil themselves. Yeah, the Holocaust never happened... neither did the Spanish Inquisition. If anyone was any smart at all, they'd realize that said terrorists hate their OWN people and people that don't follow their Medieval beliefs into oblivion. They want to kill their OWN people, especially the peaceful ones that want to co-exist with the other religions. But hey, anything to get people to vote for the same people who are so hard on terrorists that they helped train them and sell weapons to their governments, and help their favorite dictators come into power. And in turn, those people are so grateful for those actions, they try to kill us.

Dinosaurs is an amazing show with many features to be proud of...one of it's best being it's social/political statements! At the same time, it's sad how right it is, and how nothing changes :frown:
But I LOVE Dinosaurs

Who says it doesn't? If anything it gets worse.

Could you imagine if Dinosaurs was on today? They would literally tear Fox News and organizations like that to pieces. Think of it.

"Wesayso News Channel. It's the truth, because Wesayso!"

Well said, Nick! When you're able, and feel the time is right to vote, you'll think for yourself instead of blindly voting on party lines. That is very cool. It's hard for either side to imagine voting a member of the other side, due to the idealogical differences, but I think there are indeed times when we can all find the better person is different than the label we normally would support. At least I think it has been the case at times before I was born, and hope it will be again. I know this LOUD ANGRY partison crud is getting old - it should quiet down someday, right? :concern: (I won't hold my breath, but I can only hope...because as you say, it's insane)

I'd love to say I don't care about both sides, but the right is REALLY getting under my skin. I'm sorry, but the one thing I wanted to see in the 2008 election was the rise of a conservative third party (NOT Libertarianism) lead by Ron Paul, who was apparently not happy with his own party. But then again, when it came time for the election, big superhero Ron Paul played a good little soldier and stayed out of the master's way, and didn't even run as an independent. Not that I would have voted for him, but I REALLY hate the sharp Neo-Con control that took over the Republican party in the 1980's with a certain so and so. Not that I'd be a traditional conservative fan either.

What really gets me is this whole "Throw the bums out" mentality that the Democrats face. We already THREW the bums out, and said bums want to get back in and do the same bum things they did that helped screw everything up. They wanted to rouse hatred and anger because they refuse to comprise on anything, nothing gets done, they offer no new solutions, they make sure bills sit forever and threaten to repeal them as soon as it's passed as a watered down useless version full of compromise that gets votes on strictly party line. And everything's the other side's fault. But hey, our media system swings in their favor because these greedy media monopolies and conglomerates need that tax cut to pad their profits like all the other poorly run companies out there. THEY are our true leaders. I swear they're only making everyone vote right wing because the overly generous tax cuts that companies padded their profits with are going to expire. Screw them. let them fit the bill for something for a change. We whined about the Bailout, but we've been bailing out these companies for years.

I especially liked how the Right tried to get rid of Fillibuster under Bush. Frankly, I think we should have let them. It would majorly have bit them on the butt, since they're basically the ones taking advantage of it now.

Not to mention the peace demonstrations were largely ignored and marginalized by the media under the Bush administration (spending more time on the anti-Peace "Let's blow France up Next" if they even bothered mentioning it), but it seems every single news cast has a "We love you Tea Party" five minute segment every news cast. Liberal media my butt.

And as for the democrats, they're a weak disorganized bunch that couldn't pass a kidneys stone. Really? Listen, take the "we hate the left" mentality and GO with it. Push in for the tax hikes we so desperately need so we don't have to face steep budget cuts and financial gaps the last people left, all the while only getting regressive sin taxes and garbage taxes and silly taxes so the precious richest of the rich actually have to pay for screwing the poorest of the poor. Do SOMETHING! Don't move right to try to get people who DOn't like you to like you. Don't try reaching out to the aisle of a grouch party (try to tell me they aren't being one) that refused to reach out to you when they were in power. Get your stinking job done and forget about getting re-elected.
