It is common for the palisades line to have problems, like paint blotches and things.

This sounds interesting.I don't have any Palisades figures, thought about it.Just wondering, why is the paint wet at all on any of your figures? I would think the figures are like any other doll.I collect comic dolls, they're still in the plastic. Is it a common thing to have errors in the Palisades figures? Any info. will be helpful, not just to me,to anyone in MC collecting these.Thanks.
Well I dunno why, but only the last two series have been wet.

Series 8 is sticky because of the plastic they used. Series 9 is just wet and it will dry and only Lips is the wet one really. The other series are all fine. You will not have a problem with 7, 6, 5 might have some issues, 4, 3, 2, or 1. For the most part the figures are all fine with a small case of minor paint and joint issues.

I feel lucky. I never had a problem with figs or playsets, the only thing was Dr.Strangepork and Bunsen Honeydew's glasses but they aren't exactly broken!:sympathy:

My Bunsen's glasses broke off as well, as has Dr. Teeth;s, but I think the "man of the golden teeth and the golden tones" looks better without his glasses, so I didn't bother to keep track of where I had them sitting the last time I saw them. The only series 9 figure I have right now is Pops, and I don't see anything wrong with him.

Pops is probably the best figure in the series. I'm surprised they were ableto do the glasses like that. Very nice.

Man, I've read countless stories all over the forum of these paint nightmares and fragile parts breaking and thought to myself; thank God I haven't had any of those issues. My S9 were fine, but like so many of you here, my Marvin Sugs was so sticky! Nothin' rubbed off, and he just sits neatly on my shelf with the others, but that's the only figure I've rully had any problems with. I do feel for all of you who have to endure with your less then perfect figs :sympathy:
