Thanks Ken for replying to my question. I just thought I was missing something. It took me two weeks before I found out animals eyebrows moved. You guys realy keep making each series better and better. How are you guy going to keep out doing yourselfs. I cant imagine what they will look like in series 10. Thanks

Yeah Ken, thanks for the POM input. I had a feeling it was something like that, or a limited number of available cols. If that's the BIG issue with series 3 though... Man, don't sweat it. I know my 'review' of Zoot was pretty nit-picky, but even though the list of cons is longer in wording than the list of Pros they're nowhere near as important in the opinion of the figure as a whole. Right now Zoot is *easily* my second favorite figure. He looks Sooooooo good and I didn't even bring up the sculpt 'Pro' of how excellent his articulation is. When the Pal board gets fixed Monday morning(I hope) I'll post an up-dated band pic. His articulation really lended itself to a unique pose that really looks appropriate for him, I think. Oh, and I found a way around my beef about the size of the hinge on the case. By leaning it aginst the stage it looks perfectly natural.

So has anyone figured just how to position Scooter's hands in order to have him hold the drinks tray? If so, please tell me what angles need to be adjusted in his arms and hands to then place the soda cup holder in his nimble hands.

Thanks to all you guys for your help. Now then, whereas someone might be able to recognize the difference between both Zoot figures on the Palisades' website; how would this help someone with my particular visual impediment? Remember, I have no way of knowing from the text alone if "Zoot" is the red shirted figure and the "Zoot Repaint" is the yellow shirted figure or viceversa. As soon as I finalize the group and the website's working, I'll post photos of all my wonderful collection. Have a great weekend.

Man, I bet if they made an adult version of Skeeter, I could never take my eyes off it.

It must be one of those Byron/Janice stories.

We've been told continually by Ken in 'Ask Ken' over the past six or so months that Red Zoot is the repainted figure, Yellow is the regular one. If you go to shops, yellow will be the most common, there will only be one Red if at all. I don't think you can get any clearer than that.

In fact if you look at my UK Toy Fair review in this same forum you'll notice that they pointed out to me they had the Red Zoot on display but that was the repaint.

Well, yeah that's OK. The thing is that if I knew about that tiny little detail in advance, I could've specified the yellow-shirted Zoot figure as part of my order to the sales rep. yesterday afternoon. Either that or return it to the store and get a regular Zoot figure.
Bulldog: Thanks for the response. Yes, I read your earlier post and No, I'm not color blind. Tommy, a fellow MC member from the Netherlands is though. I, on the other hand, have Retinitis Pigmentosa and have been declared as legally blind in spite of retaining some sight. The way I use the internet and respond so actively on these boards is thanks to a screen-reader program called Jaws For Windows. So when I read something like "Zoot" and "Zoot Repaint", that's all I get with no color distinction between the figures unless it's mentioned within the text. Hope this helps clear up some of the confusion.

As those of you who have the figures can tell, the quality is MILES above the first two series. In every conceivable way. From the blister bubble being cleaner and stronger, to paint apps to durability. That factory is GOOD. They follow directions to a T and really listen to what you tell them and show them. In fact, they REALLY follow a guide.

Something else I noticed that on all the packages the "Play With It!" catchphrase was just a sticker. Hmm...

Yeah, The white really shows through on all of my figures already. I'm really not about to go complaining about it, as my Animal figure is basically a PVC.
It must really reeeaaally bug you, though. But think of how perfect series 4 will be!

At least these figures have joints that move OH-SO-SMOOTHLY. Man these are well-put together. And I really love the stands that come with them much more that the 25 Anniversary ones.
Overall they're really good, solid figures. Don't go losing any sleep.
