Scootr Hand Tighness

I picked up scooter today. I will get the rest, but he was on my 'can't wait' list.

Anyway, I tried to put the megaphone in his have and it scraped the plastic of his hand. So I stopped and tried the clipboard, because I though it's be smaller. Same thing. Scratched up the plastic of the hand. i tried this in both hands....no go.

I'm NOT complaining! I love the figure. I'm just bummed that he can't hold this stuff without scratching the figure's hand permenantly.

Is there a fix for this sort of thing?

Thanks!

I REALLY DO LOVE THE FIGURE AND I'M NOT COMPLAINING! PALISADES IS GREAT!

Well, since mine has two right hands, meaning one is permanently backwards or upside down, here's my fix.

Hold the accessory up against the desired hand, get some duct tape, wrap the duct tape around the accessory and the hand.

Voila, he is now securely holding his accessory. In fact, using this method, he can hold multiple accessories with the same hand!

Sorry, that's probably not the answer you were looking for...

Well, you could always fit the takeout container around his wrist and then use the ducktape to secure either the megaphone or radio or clipboard in one hand in front of the takeout box. Here are a couple of points of notice in S3: The round bases only have one peg for the figures instead of two. Was this planned on purpose? Also, I really miss the ankle joints in the S3 figures. Such an articulation point could greatly help out with Scooter's feet when positioning him on the skateboard or on a flat surface. Just thought you guys might like to know these minor points. Other than that, I really like the three S3 figures in my collection.
