Oh do I have plans...

This is so great...
I have no qualms about Dr Bob being made, and the rest of Vet's Hospital being made seperately, but with enough accessories to create the playset, or enough of it to be happy... Not worried about Vet's Hospital... Bob could come with the surgery table, Janice could come with the overhead light, and Piggy could come with an instruments tray/ table. And all of em could come with other "doctor-ie" accessories. Not a problem.

Also I can buy TWO sets of Muppet Baby Kermit and Piggies and turn one set into Zombie Vassals of Uncle Deadly, making him even creepier!!! Who could possibly zombify Muppet Babies??? Deadly can!!! This series sounds like it will be frought with pack ins, and it totally justifies buying multiple Sals... Especially since the other MT guys are so easy to find (in my area) in their repaint forms. I look forward to this, and this release also gives me hope that the other Muppet Babies will be made... Not so exciting in and of itself, but kind of promising us more series in '05, which is something I was very slightly worried about... ROCK ON!!!

Wow, great looking lineup! I set up my Muppet figure purchases into 3 categories  :

I'm definitley getting: Kermit as Capt. Smollet w/ Polly Lobster, Johnny Fiama, Frog Scout Robin, Sam the Eagle, Usher Scooter, backstage playset, Lips, MTI Gonzo and Rizzo, Mini Muppets wave 4, and Sal Minella.

Probably getting: Dr. Phil Van Neuter, Marvin Suggs, Steppin' Out Fozzie, Muppet Babies, and Pops.

Maybe getting: Beauregard, Rowlf as Dr. Bob, and Uncle Deadly.

Same here, I am having to put a plug on toys for awhile so I can afford S7. I don't know what I will do about the newer stuff.

Holey Moley!!! I never thought we would see Muppet Babies....is this because they appeared in the Muppets Take Manhattan?

The best part about series 9 is definitely the backstage playset! This is a dream come true!

I am really excited about the two baby figures! I never really followed the cartoon, actually, but it was always one of my favorite parts of MTM, which is my favorite Muppet movie. When they finally get around to Baby Rowlf, I hope they give him a toy Big Bird to play doctor with!

No, they can't do that because they don't have the SS license.
