Hey all,

Well, I have a good feeling about this show. I'm starting to compile everything that I've been sent, both text and music. Thank you so much to everyone who's contributed! I may wait to post until Monday the 24th (just more fitting I think, plus I won't get back from Atlanta until Monday night and might get some very fitting audio from...well, some people who were quite close to both Jim and Jerry).

Oh, and BJ...GREAT submission!

I'll tell the everyone hello from Muppet Central!

You know... Just wondering if you got two songs from someone who could provide them...
"Follow Me, Jerry's Song" rewritten and then sung by Phil Balsam with the performers of the Fraggle Five from The Celebration of the Life of Jerry Jull.
"Jim Henson's Dead" by Stephen Lynch, heard it the other day and I thought of this tribute of yours Steve.

Also... Not sure if it'll be done in time, but there's a photo I wanna take with my figures for the 24th, we'll see if it can be done on time.

Without spoiling anything, I can tell you that I do have a copy of the Phil Balsam re-write for Jerry Juhl (right, like that didn't spoil anything). I also have the Stephen Lynch song, although I don't know, something's never struck me quite right about that song. I can include it I guess, but it just doesn't have the emotional impact that the Balsam piece has.

As for the pic, send it over and I'll upload it to the flickr page once I get back. Oh! I also updated it last night with some awesome Muppet trading cards I found laying around. It's amazing what you forget you have sometimes! For those of you playing along at home, the official picture repository of The MuppetCast is http://www.flickr.com/photos/muppetcast.

Anyway, I'm going to bed. See y'all on Monday.

OK then buddy. Actually, the pic's for use here, but I don't see why a copy couldn't be sent your way since I've rully come to enjoy the Muppetcast.

If you feel the Stephen Lynch song isn't fully expressive of what you want for the tribute, then it's up to you to make that call.
There was this website on the web run by Tiny Dancer called The Original Sesame Street Lyrics Archive... A song that touched me was a fan submission about Jim's passing set to the tune of American Pie, but I don't think it's ever been recorded as an actual song with music.

Hope you have fun down in Atlanta at the Puppetry Center and I'm looking forward to episode 24 on the 24th.
