You might find this silly and it is a bit embarassing, but I am afraid of the Snow White's Scary Adventures at Disneyland. It's the witch, I can't handle it. She pops up unexpectedly around every corner looking at you with those big buldging out buggy eyes and creepy grin! There is only one happy part of that whole ride which is at the very beginning with the Dwarfs. The rest is horror. Anyone else feel me so i don't feel like a big 23 year old loser who is afraid of a little thing like that? I mean, come on! That is not even something you should take your children on. It would terrify them. To me, the Haunted Mansion is a day at the beach compared to that. I think its the witch thing. Since I was a small child, witches (scary ones, of course, not Samantha) have scared me.
It's interesting you specify this ride. I've been to Disney World in Florida about five times. When I first went at age 6 this ride, simply called "Snow White", scared me badly because of that frequent popping out of the witch. When I was at Disney World again at age 11 the ride was now called, "Snow White's Scary Ride". I thought I'd be brave enough for it this time but ended up closing my eyes through the whole ride. Then the next time I was there I was 14 and this time there was a sign where the lines to the ride were that said, "The witch appears at various places in this ride. Children may be frightened." And then I think the ride may have been taken out altogether at Disney World, but can't recall for sure.
Also interestingly, I also went in The Haunted Mansion at age six and LOVED it! My brother was scared, though, when he went through that one room where the little ghosts pop up from behind the tombstones and scream. I think it was the loudness that frightened him more than anything else.
My all time favorite ride there is "The Pirates of the Caribbean". Sadly, I heard that this ride has now become "politically correct" by ceasing the pirates chasing the ladies part. Also, heard the slide down the waterfall is much shorter.
Here's a news story I just saw a little while ago too, about a 16 yr old girl shaken up today after riding "The Tower of Terror". In the article it also says an elederly woman died earlier this year after riding "The Pirates of the Caribbean". I wouldn't think the ride had anything to do with it but probably she just happened to go while in the ride. Unless it somehow affected a weak heart she had.

Oddly I'm afraid of those I care about dying but not myself. I'm more afraid of living to a very ripe old age and living in a retirement home with no one visiting me. I am slightly creeped by things that can't be explained, I do jump at scary things in movies that pop out, but I think its more "startled" then scared, though I can be a bit jumpy afterwards when I'm home hehe. The only thing I can honestly say terrifies me are zombies (I think from watching a very scary zombie movie when I was about or 10), luckily that's a fear I won't have to worry about.. Unless maybe at a halloween party. ^_^

I have a fear of frogs. Not the frogs you buy at the local pet shop, but the frogs in your backyard. Nasty.. I don't know I just can't handle them, I can handle snakes, lizards etc. but I can't handle a frog.

None of the above, thank you very much. I am afraid of frogs, toads, lizards and snakes. Not to mention spiders, wasps and other various creepy crawlies.

I'm also afraid of death. I'm afraid of what it'll be like, what it'll feel like. I'm afraid that if I'm reincarnated, I'll be completely different - I won't have the same personality, the same aspirations; I might come back as a shallow, superficial person. I'm so afraid of it that part of me doesn't want to get any older.

I also have a small fear of driving. Driving around town I'm fine: I know the streets, and the speed limit's only 30 MPH (even though the construction DOES suck you-know-what). But driving the highway and the interstate, or around Rockford? Nuh-uh, not for me. I lay the blame partially on a driving instructor who gave me lessons a few summers ago. I thought I had done pretty well, considering I'd rarely drove in the city before. But then when Mom asked him how he thought I did, he told her that he wouldn't hand me the keys to his car. I still haven't been able to shake those words off, and I still won't drive in Rockford.

All right, I've got one more irrational fear. I'm afraid of bats. But here's the reason why. I was getting ready for an activity with the kids at my church and was in the youth room on the 3rd floor of this one building. Anyway, I decided to use the restroom real quick. When I went in, there was a bat floating dead in the toilet! It was such a horrible image, I screamed and ran to get a maintance person. Since then, I can't take bats, at least not when they're inside, away from their natural habitat.

Im sorry Beth, that had to be bad. When night starts to come, Bats usually swoop down to the water of the pool. It can be scary because they barely miss your head.

What a co-inkeedink. I went to WDW Paris when I was about 5 and was petrified of said ride. I went again when I was 8, thought I could brave it but really badly couldn't. And I was at Florida in the summer and still refused to go on it because of the hideous feeling it gave me.

Anyway, my main fear in life is [oddly enough] drugs. It's weird, I'm absolutely petrified of having something spiked or drugged or whatever. I don't realyl get what it's about, I think it might have something to do with a past life

Well I'm scared of terrorism, well not scared, I just hate the thought that something bad could happen anywhere anytime and there isnt much to do to stop it.

With getting your drinks spiked, if you never leave your food/drink unattended you will be fine! you gotta think, why would someone want to do that to you anyway!
