Hey everyone,
I managed to get a look at some internal production summaries for the first batch of Season 57 episodes. It looks like the Workshop is really leaning into the "Legacy" theme this year. We’re talking some massive returns from the 80s/90s era and even a tribute to a shop we haven't seen in decades.
Check out these summaries for the first four episodes:
5701: THE NEW FINDER’S KEEPERS (RUTH BUZZI TRIBUTE) Nina and Charlie plan on reopening the Finder’s Keepers shop in honor of Ruthie with help from Tamir, Abby, and Rudy. Big Bird, Telly, and Elmo share their favorite memories of Ruthie to help find the right inspiration for the grand reopening.
5702: THE OATMEAL/PORRIDGE SWAP Due to mislabeled containers, Bert eats Baby Bear’s porridge and Baby Bear eats Bert’s oatmeal. Chaos ensues as they begin to take on each other's traits: Baby Bear starts meticulously alphabetizing bottle caps, while Bert finds himself gripped by a sudden urge to hibernate and a strange obsession with Goldilocks. Can they switch back before Bert’s pigeon collection gets "organized" out of existence?
5703: BARKLEY AND TANGO’S INCREDIBLE JOURNEY Barkley and Tango head off on an adventure in Sesame Woods but quickly lose their way. While Elmo searches for his lost pet, the pups run into an old friend in the woods—Linda (Linda Bove)—who helps guide them back toward the Street.
5704: GABI MEETS GABI A "double Gabi" event! Maria and Luis’s daughter Gabi (Desiree Casado) returns to the neighborhood to guest-teach a dance class. Confusion runs rampant when Gabrielle signs up for the class, leading to a heartwarming meeting where the two Gabis realize they have more in common than just a name.
