as i write this they are showing the 35th. season for the 4th. time at this rate i am never going to see any of the older ones

I have watched and recorded these shows, but i want to see some of the older shows so i can record a few of them to show my grand childten what their parents watch when they were young .

The past few years PBS has only showed the episodes from the current season. Meaning that they will air the same 26 episodes every five weeks for the entire year. Next year's season will likely start on April 4 or 11, 2005.

And even if they showed older episodes, they would either be from season 33 or 34 since they changed the format of the show.

Well, just before the beginning of Season 35, my local station(WGBH)was airing season 32 episodes with the old format.

I know, I couldn't believe that. My reaction was, "WOW! RIGHT on PBS!"

My kids watch SS from the early 70s thru the early 90s but my grandkids tell me its to boring .If they show the same ones over and over i can see why .What are they thinking ,they use to show the same skits over and over to teach and some times that got old but the rest of the show was good
