hello everyone!

I'm new to your forum and thank you for allowing me to post my question.

There is a skit from one of the older shows that uses those weinheimer dogs

that are used for old nursery rhymes. In this skit, one of the dogs is dressed

as "Ol King Cole" and in this, he has musicians play this old string music,

probably from that time era of the rhyme genre. Would anyone, by chance,

know that skit and the music thereof? I would love to get the soundbyte

of that for my ipod. Thank you very Much!

thank you!

thank you very much for the thread! Now, do you or anyone know the

name of the music piece in the skit? I wish Itunes or someone had

these skits that can be uploaded!

I wish I knew the name of the piece. We really need an expert in classical music to help us identify all the classical pieces that have been played on the show through the years. I happened to identify the "sad flower" music as a piece by Vivaldi just because I happened to hear it on the radio one day!

There's another beautiful piece of music from Sesame Street that I'd love to identify. It's the harpsichord music from the "garbage in the park" skit. You can listen to it in the clip below. If anyone knows it, please let us know what it is!
