Searching for Bunsen

Hello,

I have just begun to collect the Muppet action figures. (I know I'm way late to the game here, but I'm still making the effort to get the figures from Series 1). I've managed to find Kermit, the EB exclusive Miss Piggy, and Fozzie without too much trouble.

I get much more of a thrill buying these in person instead of online. Despite all of my searching, I have been unable to locate a Bunsen figure anywhere in my region.

Here's my little plea: Muppet fans in North Carolina- do you know where in the state I can still find a Bunsen figure?

I'm in Charlotte and have tried every Media Play, Toys R Us, EB Games/Electronics Boutique, and Sam Goody in the area.

I appreciate any and all help and I look forward to partcipating more in this forum!

There was a message in the Trade/Buy section from a Loose Jello who had a few spare Bunsen and Dr.Teeth. You might want to drop him a line.

I traded for a Dr.Teeth that should be arriving soon. It's unlikely that you'll find one still in stores, but you never know.

Good luck!

I'd try some comic shops. Or if you know of a nostolgic toy shop.
During Series two I went to a comic shop and found a Dr. Teeth. Bunsen I had to get off ebay along with Muppet Labs. I've noticed a bunch of Gonzo's at TRU
Cool that you found the EB Piggy, that one eludes me, but I don't want two Piggys so it's too late for me...

Thanks for the suggestions. I decided to just go ahead and order Bunsen from an online store. With shipping, it still came out cheaper than what he is going for on ebay.

Now I need to pick up the Muppet Labs so Bunsen will have a place to call home! There are tons of Muppet Labs playsets around here. I think every Toys R Us I've been to has at least two or three on the shelf.

I was never really in to action figures growing up. Now that I'm grown I find myself in love with this series. I think adults needs toys as much as kids!

Well in that respect you're lucky. My TRU never carried the playsets, so there's one EB in my town that carries a few and they're gone within a week or two. And the prices are usual a bit high. And now that TRU doesn't carry the line anymore they are also the only ones with series three.

Sigh, oh for the days when I could spend my money and not have a ton of bills to worry about.
