Has anyone else ever noticed how Scooter's right arm always just dangles there? Most Muppets get their hand pinned to their side but not Scooter. I wonder why Richard Hunt performed him that way?

Scooter looks to odd to have both arms being controled by a rod, well, back then at least. Plus, almost all of Richard's characters only use on arm rod, or are live hands, so he must have gotten used to using only one arm.

I think I recall seeing that quite a bit with Richard Hunt's Scooter while watching some TMS eps. I remember it being really noticeable with David Rudman's Scooter in Letters To Santa.
