Yay Fozzie

If they can make it for under $400, they already have their 500. So let's get this started Master Replicas. Even the economy can't stop us from buying Fozzie.

welcome to the forum.Sadly, it is unviable to make only 500 and sell
Fozzie for under $400.In fact, Master Replicas will not be proceeding with the Muppet photo puppet replica line and we are just waiting for a new Disney partner to finalise a deal for the line to
continue.

Until I got my new Gonzo, I was kind of over the line. But now I'm really, REALLY excited again. So I'll cross my fingers for a Fozzie Bear. After you work these guys and make some minor fixes, they rule - except Gonzo's nose which I've somehow been able to overlook.

yes.. would have been nice if they could have found a way to make his nose more... authentic.. but i think that considering the options and the desired longevity of these (after all, with the puppets, they replace them as needed, can't quite do that with these..) it was an acceptable compromise.. i would definately prefer his nose didn't fall off in a year or two, even if it means we have to deal with nylons stockings..

I am still happy with the result of getting my Gonzo's nose flocked. Some might argue that the color is too dark(but Gonzo did start off with a dark purple nose) but I prefer it to looking a grainy nylon material.
.......And stand by, because if things are on track, we should have some news in around a month about the Muppet photo puppet replica line.

I like to see a Fozzie replica too, but i dont think it gonna happen.
As much as i like the replicas i dont missed the price reductions of the replicas. Ok good for me i got em cheap that way but it also shows people just dont have the money or dont want to spend that kind of money for a replica.
Also im a bit dissapointed with Animal i mean if i had spend 400$ for him i would have expspected the hair on the head much better. Ok i spend 120$ plus 90$ shipping and like 30$ import tax thats 240$ in total.
Im aware that this kind of items are rare and for me they like a once in a lifetime chance but anyway i was dissapointed with animal.
I bet i will like Gonzo when he is here, but having to lay on hands on the eyes again for a 300$ product is not what i expect for this price. Ok i didnt spend that much but you need to think it over if you did spend that amount.

As for Fozzie ive seen the photos of the proto and he is huge.
I think most overseas would not be able to order him just due his size because of parcel restrictions.
Im not sure if he is like 600$ and you would have to spend an extra 300$ or more to get him if anyone oversea would order one.

As for me sure i like to have one but im also not sure if i have space for a Fozzie because i already have trouble with Kermit, Animal and Gonzo to find a good spot.

Actually he started off with an aqua-colored nose that was more than one color so a solid dark purple nose would be incorrect in any legit interpretation. But then again, the nose sock isn't accurate either. It's about individual taste rather than accuracy.
