I don't remember him, but I remember a butch of different other ads in that series about eating right:smile:

Must be really, really early 80's (like 1980-1982).

That evil Yuck Mouth could do wonders to a person's teeth! Oh the horror!

Hey, remember the cartoon all-stars where a whole bunch of cartoon characters like Alf, the Smerfs, Garfield, Kermit and Piggy, Michaelangelo, Bugs Bunny, Slimer, and others come in?

Yep. The only cartoon crossover (in history) that was nothing more than a anti-drug PSA with Wonderful Ways to Say No as the centeral song. The fact that our favorite 80's cartoons--including my namesake and Snowth's beloved 'munks--know what drugs are alarms me in all honesty.

Baby Piggy: And after we go on this ride, Kermit's taking me to the tunnel of love, aren't you Kermie?
Baby Kermit: Umm...right?
Baby Piggy: How romantic...The human brain?
Micheal: What's going on?
Baby Kermit: Drugs! This is what they do to your brain, Micheal.
Baby Gonzo: Actually, this is just one artist's conception..teehee.
Micheal: Hey "he's" going to fall!
Baby Kermit: Abandon Brain!
Baby Gonzo: Weirdos and kids first!

Yep. But again, to see that the 'munks & Pooh (and all the rest) know what drugs are at all is shocking, IMHO.

What better way to avoid something if you know about them. Of course, I couldn't see Pooh knowing.. but Simon of the Chipmunks? He's a very well read guy. I doubt that he wouldn't know about stuff like that along with physics, history, and chemistry...

That said, it's almost a shame an amazing cartoon crossover like that was wasted on a PSA, when it would have been much cooler to see them all fight the cartoon forces of evil.

It never worried me that much..but it wasn't something I rewatched often..I think in a way, it really did it's job, in that it was so one of a kind anyone in our generation who saw it still remembers it
