Sam Eagle and Nigel Comic Spain figures FOUND!

I have finally found a photo of the Muppet collectors holy grail, Nigel the conductor and Sam th Eagle Comic Spain figures!

I presume these were the prototype, and this just does prove that old German PVC magazine that Jog read years ago, they do exist!

WOW, A Nigel figure! I only have Miss piggy so far in this set, having concentrated on the Schleich set.The Comic spain set is a better sculpt.I have never seen Sam or Nigel come up on ebay.

Do we know this was an actual figure that was produced or just a composite photograph?

Kermit and animal appear in full color, but the others are faded, so there is some paste up.

Why are Nigel's eyes demonicly red? o.o;

My guess is that Nigel and Sam were just planned figures, but never got a wide release.

They would have to be the ones that are worth the most money.
