I'd love to see one that includes How Now Brown's 'Danger's No Stranger' myself. Maybe they could use it and Little Jerry and the Monotones' song 'Danger' (if it was actually on the show) and some other various skits about danger or safety in some sort of safety video.

If they were marketing to to adults as well as kids, here's how I'd do it:

Season box sets, with each set containg 10 episodes (roughly equal to one season set of a half-hour show), either two complete Mon-Fri sets from different parts of the year, or just 10 random ones. They could go through the seasons doing that, and it wouldn't be too unwieldly.

It probably wouldn't be profitable, and it's not likely to ever be done, but I think it's a workable idea.

"The Sound of the Letter A" was indeed performed on a 1970s episode of Sesame Street (though I don't remember the season or episode number).

Likewise, I remember seeing "What's My Letter?" as recently as the late 80s; Don Music was one of the contestants on that game show, so it must have been written before Richard Hunt's death (and parents' complaints about head-banging toddlers).

Actually, the skit you are thinking about is Mystery Letter, where the mystery letter is X, and the contestants were Don Music, Sherlock Hemlock, and Cookie Monster. The letter in What's my letter was E, and the contestant was Prairie Dawn.

Unless, of course, there were multiple What's My Letter sketches, but I only know of the one with Prairie Dawn.
