Greetings All.
Some info about supposed projects Disney is working on for the Muppets have come my way, and I thought I would share them with you all.
Let me just say that I trust the sources of this info. They not only work with me at a certain resort in Anaheim, but they have been right on about several other items in the past.
First up... besides the "Muppet Wizard of Oz" telefilm, it seems one of the sources had a friend do extra work on a Muppet version of American Idol being filmed at the Disney Studios. It was reported that it featured Pepe, Piggy and Gonzo as the judges. The extra wasn't sure if it was a pilot for a show, or a segment of a new Muppet show or speacil.
Here's another tid-bit... It seems Disney is "really strongly" considering having the Muppet people film an all new version of Muppet-vision 3D! That's right. It seems, again according to this source, that Disney Theme Parks divison feels, as great & important as the original MV-3D is (it was Jim Henson's last film) it is over 11 years old and not really drawing the crowds in at either California or Florida. Doing a new version (Muppet*vision 3D V.2?) would let them update it a bit, use newer 3D tech, and also use the newer members of the Muppet cast. (Pepe in 3D?!) Only time will tell.
And Last... It seems many of the on-sight character artists at the Disneyland Resort have been making trips up to Disney Studios to meet with the Muppetteers and their characters. Why, you ask? To learn how to draw them it appears! Don't know if it's for t-shirts,watchs, or what but it adds a bit more believeability to the above rumor of Muppet projects being filmed at Disney Studios.
So there you have it fellow Muppet fans. Again, they are only rumors, but it might just mean the Muppets are about to return to the public eye in some mighty interesting ways!

but like i sayed b4.... as much as i loving seeing Muppet Vision 3D, it REALLY needs somthing added to it! 
atleast disney is willing to risk it all by trying to revive them.
