Was it Steve then who can play piano? Cause I read an interveiw once where the person who did Rowlf's hands was saying he could get by on piano, which was why he got to do the hands. Because it made Rowlf look more like he was really playing.
I'm pretty sure it was Steve. He plays the trumpet too.

Then again, what about the first few seasons of "The Muppet Show" before Steve joined the cast? I'm guessing it was probably either Frank or Louise who did his hands there.

Hey, I didn't know he plays trumpet. No wonder he did Lips so well.

Apparently, when Jerry Nelson joined the Muppets for the first time, he also did Rowlf's hands for a while on the Jimmy Dean appearances. Frank did the hands before that.

Steve can play the trumpet huh?.....That must have helped him with Lips.

As for Rowlf, I think we can all say there were numerous people who helped fif Rowlfs hands while Jime Henson performed Rowlf's body.

Well who ever does Rowlf's hands now (when we actually see him that is) should learn the paino. One time I saw the new Rowlf playing and it didn't look right at all.
