I have one request. Please make the naked Rowlf available without the stage playset. Speaking for myself I would love the stage. But I just simply do not have the room. I bought the kitchen, the band stage and the lab...The Muppets line is wonderful and I have bought every figure so far excluding the exclusives. Please don't strip naked Rowlf from those of us who cannot afford and have no room for a set of the stage's magnitude. Why not put Sweetums in as incentive to buy the stage. Rowlf is too central of a character to be used as buying incentive...it would just be painful for him to be left out of the collection because at this point in my "small-apartmented" life with school and a mediocre job...I won't be able to afford the stage when it comes out and it will be impossible to get by the time I can afford it money wise and space wise.

Sorry if this seems selfish but I hope there may be others who share my thoughts on a naked Rowlf available to all.

The stage could come with Sweetums? Some Frackles? J.P. Grosse? Uncle Deadly and Wayne and Wanda? A sparkle jacket Kermit with tons of props and animals and monster figures?

Any other sacrifice but naked Rowlf, please.
:concern:

I can really apppreciate where you are coming from, but the fact is that you said it best yourself. "Rowlf is too central of a character to be used as buying incentive" is exactly the reason the he is in there. Because he is a central character, a signature edition. Previously the playsets have, for the most part, had some very heavy hitters in there.

Even if we wanted to change our minds about it the time for doing so has passed...it is way too deep into the process. Hopefully you can find a way, or maybe we'll do what we had with the leftover Chef's we get for QC, but other than that I don't have a lot of good news for you, sorry.

Hey alex, knowing Palisades, they will probably come through with some Rowlfs that are not in the playset. Not a guarantee but a posibility. They are a great company and really listen to the fans. The loose Chefs seemed to do well so here's hope that Rowlf will work out too.

Alex, just steal some money! It's pretty easy and more fun than working, plus if you do it right, you'll be able to afford some Muppets.

Or get arrested by Bear on Patrol (cause he'll be out by then)!

The backstage set reportedly holds up to 15 figures. 15!!! I'm sure that if you put your collection inside the set in place of their current location, that will help with space management. We have 6 or more months to save up for the appoximately $30 playset so knowing it's coming is helpful.

In order for the fans to get these sets they need a big character to anchor it. Rowlf is the only one left that could really do that. Sure there's Sam, but he has his own mojo working with the shifty eyed variant. Palisades works very hard to please their fanbase, but we in turn have to respect the tough decisions they have to make in order to get the product we want. Many consider the backstage area to be the IT set. I'm completely behind this decision if that's what it takes.
