Hi ya. You will never believe what lost character I saw on Play With Me Sesame today. It was Roosevelt Franklin (y'know, a purple little Anything Muppet boy who was performed by live actor Matt Robinson who played Gordon). He was on the clapping segment with lots of other Anything Muppets like the orange girl AM, Farley, the purple boy in Harvey Kneeslapper's sweater, the Fat Blue like man, Roosevelt Franklin's Mom, a pink girl that looks like Prairie, etc. but he was not speaking. the new Grover once taught us how to clap as this classic clip is playing.

The clapping segment with Roosevelt Franklin and lots of other AM's can be shown on episode #536 from 1973, the episode that David, Maria and Luis were on it many times. It also featured lots of segments like Lena Horne singing "Brand New Friend of Mine" to Grover, a stool for me film, "Oh don't ya see, there's a bird on me" film, the Harlem Globehotters, Bert's classic Doin' the Pigeon dance, Beat the Time sketch where it ends with Cookie crashing the studio by riding the train, the annoying animated and live-action "D" segment, Ernie drawing Bert's head on screen, the large cumbersome suit robot named Sam greeting Luis, the Fat Cat song by Mahna Mahna, Kermit and Joey recite the ABCDEFG Cookie Monster and Stevie Wonder singing 123 Sesame Street at the end of this episode.

Can this segment be shown on other Unpaved episodes?

It can be seen in show #1364 (or maybe #1396) with R2D2 and C3PO.

A new season of "Play With Me Sesame" will begin a week from Monday on April 7th. Really looking forward to seeing some old classic skits that they will be adding in the new episodes.

Are you sure they're even doing new episodes of Play With Me Sesame?

What happened when the new Grover did the clapping sketch?

Did it have a hippie with a beard and a hippie girl?
