RON LUCAS ROCKS MAN! I just went on Spring Break to Las Vegas and saw his show (If you want to know he performs at the Rio). Not only that, afterwards I got a special DVD of his first Television Special.

Yeah Ronn (I actually remember it being two "N"'s) is terrific. I saw him perform Buffalo Billy one year at the Jerry Lewis Telethon, and I thought he was hillarious.

I've always loved Ronn's performances, but I think my favorite was his appearance on "Night Court". There were several ventriloquists in the courtroom, but he was the only one without a figure. Ronn's character had vowed not to move his lips until he found the perfect puppet. It was so funny to watch him hitting on Christine, speaking directly to her, but not moving his lips. it was hilarious!

Scary Larry, thanks for sharing your story. I always love to hear about performers with some degree of fame who don't forget to be real human beings and treat others with kindness and respect. Kudos to Ronn and all such performers!
