Over a year later, I'm already seeing some images of "Muppets Rock 'n Roller Coaster," and I'm liking what I'm seeing.

They actually reused the Statler and Waldorf animatronics from "MuppetVision 3D" here! I'm happy they got a new home within the park, being a very logical choice.

Even the Jim-Henson-as-a-Muppet portrait from "MuppetVision 3D" was saved and incorporated into the ride!

For those who can't make the trip or just want to see the ride before you do, someone posted a decent POV of the experience.

Overall, if this was a new additional ride and not a replacement for MV3D I'd be much happier about it. But i get that MV3D was 35 years old and these rides can't last forever. It's just a shame to lose the last Muppet project that Jim Henson did.

To say that the attraction exceeded my expectations would be an understatement. There’s a lot of Muppet-related paraphernalia throughout the queue and other places inside the building. They even have concert outfits worn by the Electric Mayhem in their show’s finale.

And once again, one of my Muppet predictions became a reality. Animal does the ride launch countdown - I totally called it!

Oh, and this should interest those of you who still use the forum: Eric Jacobson is the new performer of George the Janitor (I did sort of call that on the forum’s Muppets 70 thread) and Peter Linz is the new performer of Nigel the Conductor.
