I think the trouble is we don't see Eric in person too often, unlike with Frank so it's hard to tell exactly what he looks like. But thanks for sharing that photo. It sort of gives us a general idea.
He's actually one of the more visible muppeteers. Muppet Wiki has plenty of pictures of him. He's made appearances on tv here and there and events such as Comic Con.

I finally got the chance to watch this clip recently. I think they did wonderful contemplating it. I don't think Rosie Perez had the comic timing as well as Rita Moreno, but definitely a nice tribute, and it was really sweet to see Rita's facial reactions in the audience. I'm glad they recognized that as an important part of her entertainment history, plus didn't she win the Emmy for that appearance on the Muppet Show?
