Sherwood Schwartz has passed away. He created Gilligan's Island and the Brady Bunch among many other shows. What a career he had!

And so we lose another one of the great producers of the golden era of television: a man who gave us the likes of Gilligan, and the Bradys.

His son said that he didn't "die", he just ran out of time to do all the things he wanted to do.

I didn't know he also wrote for the Red Skelton show.
