Another 60's icon gone. Richie was a fixture on the Greenwich Village folk music scene for almost 50 years. He opened up a little concert in 1969 called Woodstock, and even showed up on Sesame Street
to sing "Wonder Child". Deeply soulful, spiritual man. I was lucky enough to meet him some years back, and this guy had such a charismatic presence... it was like being next to someone like... JIM!
And he had a voice like no other...

Great job, Richie. You passed the audition. Peace.

Mr. Havens is one of my all-time favorite singer/songwriters...may he Rest in Peace and I thank him for the music.
