Dang, this one definitely hurts. My favorite number from her on her “Muppet Show” appearance is easily “I Feel the Earth Move” with Thog. I remember that one in particular really fascinating me as a kid when I had seen it on the “Rock Music with the Muppets” VHS from Playhouse.

The Loretta Swit episode of Muppet Show was definitely one of the most memorable. RIP. It feels like we're losing a lot of guest stars recently.

We lost George Wendt too. I know he was never on TMS or whatever, but just thought I'd mention it.

Actually, and I thank the article at toughpigs.com, George Wendt did appear if briefly on The Jim Henson Hour as part of the half-hour second part special Miss Piggy's Hollywood famously getting fitted for a pair of pants at a tailor's shop that Piggy and Gonzo infiltrated. *Raises stein filled with Sprite to "NORM!!!"
