I saw him play may times against my beloved Brewers. He always seemed to tear up the Brew Crew. And he always seemed to love what he was doing.

I hadn't mentioned anything about this yet because I wasn't sure how many people here knew of him, but as a Minnesota girl this guy was my idol growing up. I remember both World Series that he helped win for Minnesota. I had a friend who even named her dog "Kirby" It was devistating to hear of this news the other day. We have suffered a great loss here in MN. Rest in peace Kirby Puckett, you were one of the really great ones.
If every sports star played with the heart Kirby did, then sports would certainly be a better place.
