Sad news. "I Feel Love" was the best electronic-influenced dance song ever recorded some 15-20 years before that genre become mainstream.

I was shock and sad to hear about the passing of Donna Summers. Normally I'm use to hearing it from Harvey Levin of TMZ saying about it on Twitter. But this time, it was right in my face on MSN. R.I.P. Donna Summers.

I actually got to wait on her once. The restaurant I was working at in college during the 80's, in she came one night with Tommy James (Crimson and Clover, Mony Mony, etc.) on her arm. Supposedly the Queen of Disco and the 60's pop icon- both WAY past their primes at that point- were planning to make an album together, but nothing came of it.
Managed to get Tommy's autograph, but Donna said next to nothing the whole time.
Still, very nice for my first-ever celebrity encounter.
