Bear arrives on Disney+Tonight, starting at 9 PM EST and lasting till whenever, I'm going to have a beta test of my chat system. What does this mean? This means, that while my chat room is theoretically working, it has not been tested very well. That's the meaning of "beta" testing - it is a trial run to kinda shake the bugs out of the system.
How can you get involved? Simple. Chances are, you already have the software on your machine. All you need is an IRC client, like mIRC, pirch for windows, ircII, or any of the other IRC clients out there.
Just start your client and point if to gobo.rickmiller.dyndns.org by typing in this command:
/SERVER gobo.rickmiller.dyndns.org
you should get a connection to my server. Once there, join the channel #muppets by typing:
/JOIN #muppets
and you should be there!
Feel free to try connecting during the day, I will be tweaking the server up so it shouild work the best!
