Like clockwork, washed-up comedians pop up to complain about wokeness.

Meanwhile, the examples Jerry provides for great comedy include Mary Tyler Moore and All In the Family, shows that were 100% "woke" for their time. Larry David's Curb ran for 10 seasons and just ended a week or two ago. South Park and Family Guy are still going strong. It's not offensive comedy people have a problem with, jerry, it's lazy comedy.

He be looking extra crusty lately 🤮

It's the old "Trump says something, the media amplifies it, and his base says it was taken out of context". Feels like the same soap opera that has been going on for the last 8 years.
It was indeed taken out of context, just like 99% of anything else they've ever reported him saying. It helps to go back and look on You Tube or wherever, and listen to what he actually said, in context.

Praising Hannibal Lecter was... interesting even for Orange Peel.
I'm guessing you saw then24 second clip with none of the surrounding context.

He wasn't praising Hannibel Lecter. He preceeded the comment by talking about Venezuela releasing people from prisons and insane asylum and dropping them at the US border. He brought up Lecter to conjur an image of a crazy person and quoted a dark comedic line from the movie.

Trump's rally was over an hour and a half long, yet the biggest thing the media took from it was an out of context mention of a fictional character and tried to make it look like Yrump was praising said character? To me, that says there wasn't much else to mock, especially when he was talking about real issues like the price of food (which doesn't count towards inflation for some reason), the cost of energy, the southern border being out of control, the housing market being in shambles, etc.

Stop falling for the medias trick of taking Trump out of context. Listen to his speeches. If you still disagree with him, at least you'll be doing so from an informed position.
