I love it!

She is still one of the only people that justs makes me tingly when I watch her perform.

It may sound weird, but I have always felt a very strong connection to her. It pains me to know that I won't ever have the chance to meet her and let her know how much she inspired me (the same with Jim). :frown:

Nate, I can beat that last statement. I'm kicking myself in the butt every day of my life now.

Back before Charles Schulz died I had drawn a picture of Muley with Snoopy and Woodstock. I sent it to him, but he died before he got it. The letter with it was a request for an autographed photo and sketch of Charlie Brown and Snoopy. Well, the MSCA was doing an art show to honor Sparky, so I got online and emailed Creative Associates because I wanted everything to be official, and was suddenly in contact with cartoonist/product manager Paige Braddock, Schulz's personal secretary Edna Poehner, and his WIFE Jeannie Schulz!!

After a few conversations, I asked Edna, "Suppose someone who totally idolized Sparky wanted to talk to him. What was the chances?"

Edna said, "All you had to do was call and ask for him. His home number was listed in the phone book, and you could have also got his contact information from the operator. He would have loved to talk to you."

No autographed photo. No sketch of Charlie Brown and Snoopy. No conversation with Schulz. All 3 of which were at the tips of my fingers, and now there's no chance.

Good grief!
