Remembering Caroll Spinney (December 26, 1933-December 8, 2019)

It's definitely the end of an era. My childhood practically died last year. Not only did we lose Caroll, but we lost Russi Taylor as well.

It was interesting how I found out. Usually, my dad or my sister finds out (I try to avoid the news as much as possible, so as not to feed my depression, anxiety, and paranoia), and they send text messages. My parents found out first, and they actually called to let me know, because they felt this was too big a deal to me to send via text message. And they were vacationing in Germany at the time! On Christmas day, my dad, my sister, and I have a family tradition of choosing a Christmas movie (or special or Christmas themed episode) to watch. My pick, in honor of Caroll, was "Christmas Eve on Sesame Street."
